The Faces of Forcera
HELEN SANSON
Director
Helen set up Forcera CIC in November 2019. It aims for systems change for social change by using her passion for systems thinking to build capacity and foster agency for social transformation. She brings an array of different skills and experiences to empower organisations and individuals through systems thinking based on social innovation and active learning approaches.
Previously, Helen spent seven years in public sector, arts and education communications management before moving across to the education sector where she has worked for eighteen years in various sectors and positions including leadership. She also read for a Masters in Adult Learning and Global Change at Linköping University. In addition, Helen has worked in the third sector for the past four years in management as a freelance consultant, where she focuses on strategy, project management, capacity building and securing funding.
Helen is a strong generalist, a natural systems-thinker and has multi-sectoral experience across many areas. She is passionate about problem-solving, seeing the big picture and social innovation.

Ope is a UK top 6 consulting firm trained and qualified accountant with 5 years experience in external auditing covering the commercial (FTSE 350), third sector and high profile public sector clients. She currently consults for a private equity start-up in Nigeria and is a governor at school in London.
